Article 1.

NAME, SEAT AND MISSION

1. The Women’s Association of Slovakia ( the Association) is voluntary organization which associates all women with no regard on race, nationality or religion.
2. The principal activities of Association are created in order to preserve and develop personality of women, to defend the equality of chances in familial, political, economical, social and cultural life, to save their basic human rights and liberties.
3. Main objectives are:
   • Supporting by all legislative and ethical forms the economical establishment of women in economic-social system
   • Organizing formal or informal actions to obtain all information, experiences and knowledge’s aimed at supporting self-realization of our members in the field of business
   • Providing professional seminars and workshops for members in order to acquire an appropriate skills and education
   • Ensuring the advisory services in legal and social questions and providing social services
   • Enforcing by legal and advisory services equal role at the workplace, in the family, and in the society
   • Helping families to organize free time activities of children by organizing children camps and recondition placement
   • Performing social help, by the activities of Association increasing the employment and economical independence of women, creating the bourses of labour, and encouraging young women entrepreneurs to start their business
   • Working with public in order to elevate the number of volunteers who will participate in activities supporting equality of chances, social help and upkeep of health and surroundings
   • Creating of membership’s database and all volunteers participated
   • Cooperating with other similar organizations from Slovakia and from abroad, too.
